The farm is located in Loreto Aprutino (Abruzzo), halfway between the Adriatic Sea and the southernmost European glacier. In the vineyard, which covers 17 hectares at 270-320 meters of altitude, biodynamic principles are applied. No selected yeasts are added or used during the winemaking process, and they don’t control fermentation temperatures. The choices of the last generation of the family that has long been guardian of this natural heritage represents personal research of depth.
“Farming techniques, field works, manual activities, spirituality, education, observation, listening, dialogue, silence: each of these elements represents our research, heart and substance of our actions.” – Nicoletta De Fermo
